1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Centrebus, Luton wants to continue to engage with the community that it serves through the provision of its bus services and being a member of Luton DAA helps facilitate this aspiration further.

Luton DAA has identified that journeys by public transport can be challenging and we believe (through staff training and development sessions, as well as awareness campaigns) that we can make a positive difference.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As and when each action is undertaken / complete, the Centrebus Board of Directors will review its effectiveness at the Monthly Depot Meeting. Progress will be documented and any subsequent recommendations will also be actioned.

The local Coordinator will be invited to undertake periodic reviews.
