1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We will ensure we use our knowledge about dementia from the Dementia Friends session when communicating and dealing with customers that are showing signs of dementia

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We are only a small business and we would struggle to make any environmental changes.

2. Actions

  • Raise awareness of dementia to staff

Encourage all staff to watch the Dementia Friends film at www.dementiafriends.org.uk or attend a face to face Dementia Friends session
