1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists a number of outcomes that we are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We provide goods and services to people with dementia that support them in their daily living and enable them to stay at home and in their community, enjoying the best quality of life for longer.

Training for staff and volunteers in care settings to support people with dementia through creativity.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Limited time, resources and/ or a stretched budget.

    Provided training for artist practitioners (over 40 to date) in dementia awareness plus training for our own staff. Includes becoming Dementia Friends
