1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Sunrise is a care environment offering care tailored to the individual, ensuring people feel safe and secure. Keeping family involved is important for the happiness of every resident.

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

     Ensure all staff, attend a dementia awareness raising session

  • Memory Cafe

    Open to the community a monthly Memory cafe with music and singing. 

  • Community Relations promoting dementia awareness

    Build relation, ongoing support and resources for the community. Facilitate Dementia information talks.
