1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We will continue to support community pastorally. 

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

    Ensure all staff members are offered a dementia awareness raising session

  • Working with the Live At Home Scheme

    Supplying volunteers, chaplaincy, encouraging them to feel part of the church.

  • Offering venues

    Offering our building for use for Dementia Awareness 

  • The Coffee Bar

    Raising awareness of Dementia Friendly  

  • Building / Environment

    Ensure we provide a dementia friendly environment.
