1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
To research activities that are fully inclusive for dementia sufferers and their carers in order to promote health, wellbeing and social interaction.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
The ability to be able to change our facilities to make improvements to the environment for dementia suffers. To source experienced instructors to lead activity session suitable for dementia sufferers.
