1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are training our staff to become dementia friends and have a better understand of what dementia is and how we can help people to remain healthy in a variety of different ways. We run free dementia sessions every Tuesday 1pm to 2:30pm.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We are doing it and have already started training our team.
