1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
The Source provides a variety of opportunities for us to cascade knowledge about dementia to others.
We will use all the avenues we have available to us to ensure people in our organisation with dementia or who care for people with dementia feel supported at work. We aim to have a workforce who knows the Source is committed to supporting them if dementia has affected their lives. We will raise the profile of the alliances work with our external customers and stakeholders
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
The Source will regularly revisit the actions within the plan to ensure we continue to raise the profile of the Dementia Action Alliance and continue to revise these policies as appropriate in order to embed dementia as area of diversity for ourselves.
We will need to ensure that we continue to raise awareness with other companies we engage with
