1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We provide voluntary services and fundraising for charities who support those with living with Dementia.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

General public awareness of dementia and its effect on the individual and their family.  

2. Actions

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

    Facilitating Dementia Friendly Awareness Session for members of Rotary.

  • Appoint Dementia Champion

    We will appoint a member of Rotary as a Dementia Friends Champion.

  • Provide links to Charity

     Support local charities where possible in their dementia awareness campaign.
