1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

-      Being aware of the issues that people with dementia and their carers face.

-       Provide support and understanding when someone with dementia or their carer needs pastoral support.

-       Work with and in the community for raising awareness about dementia and challenging the stigma associated with the illness.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

-       Time and resources to roll out the Dementia Awareness sessions to all members of our church and in the community.
