1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have undertaken some of the training and are looking to train more staff so that they can support people with dementia in a more positive way.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

The challenges for us is training our staff who are mostly part-time and are needed front of house to deliver services, so for us this will slow down the time by which we could be more effective.
