1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

As a clear alternative residential care, we offer better outcomes for people with dementia and their families, we enable people to remain living in their own homes. We support families by caring for the individual (s) allowing the person with dementia to remain in familiar surroundings.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Live in care isn’t really known about, often incorrectly considered unaffordable, educating professionals to offer Live in Care as a possible solution.
