1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Our aim is to gain more knowledge about dementia within the teams working in the Yemeni Centre ,Committee Members and Health Champions to enable us to pass on knowledge about the condition and the support services avaliable
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
To try and remove the stigma attached to dementia within the communities and to help people engage with support services and thir Gp's

Dementia Awarness
Gain awareness about dementia by orgaizing a Dementia Awareness session for committee members and the Health Champions within the Yementi centre

Worried about your memory leaflet /Help to increase diagnoise rates
We will keep copies of WAYM leaflets in Arabic and pss on to anyone
We will encourage people who are worried about their memories to go to the Gp’s and where appropriate get a diagnosis of dementia with concerns about their memory
