1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are already focused on awareness raising activities within the community.

As a hub of the community in Ealing we are well placed to make a difference to people living with or affected by dementia.

We will work alongside the Ealing DAA to enable us to fully implement our objectives and will encourage our staff and volunteers to become Dementia Friends.

We will also commit to do a sole issue month of awareness raising for dementia within the Lido Centre.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Challenges to delivering these outcomes are time constraints.
