1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

By becoming a dementia friendly cricket ground we will be delivering community based solutions and enviroment for people living with and affected by dementia in Ealing.

We aim to achieve dementia friendly status through signposting, staff education and training and promoting positive attitudes towards dementia.

We will also work cross organisationally to ensure people living with dementia are aware of support available within the borough of Ealing.

We will keep a direct line of contact open with the alliance to achieve this goal.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We may have a limited scope of influence on the wider community of Ealing as our work is focused to the our club members.
