1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We will make all colleagues in the store  dementia friendly and aware which will ensure that they deliver great customer service to individuals.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

There could be a few challenges e.g:

. Colleagues varying shift patterns ( potentially making it difficult to get lots together at the same time to attend awareness sessions).

.Pressures of workload getting in the way

.Time constraints

2. Actions

  • Raise dementia awareness in store
