1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

To provide information about local support, events, activities through the magazine and as an information point.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Possible challenges would be time factors, as we are a small team and have print/publishing deadlines to meet.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Awareness for staff

Ensure all staff attend a dementia awareness raising session.
