1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Our firm supports those with dementia and their carers.

We provide a friendly, pro-active service in respect of the making of will and lasting power of attorneys.

Our staff provide home visits to clients, in order to work around their needs.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As a firm, we ofen deal with people who have been diagnosed with dementia. We understand the affect that dementia can have on people's lives and we seek to facilitate long-term planning in order to meet people's needs.

We also provide help for carers, as we appreciate their importance for maintaing the wellbeing of the people they care for.
