1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We are a ladies dress and accessory shop which welcomes people with dementia and also people with special needs. We offer specialist help in choosing outfits and also our frontage is user friendly – no steps and a wide opening.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

No real challenges.

    To identify possible issues for people living with dementia. Make changes which are feasible and ensure staff awareness of those which are not so they are able to help visitors within the premises.
