1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We provide services to residents of Bracknell, and give grants to a number of organisations supporting those with Dementia.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Dealing with people who have dementia, both in visting our offices and on the telephone.

2. Actions

  • Ensure high standards of customer service are applied, including to those with dementia.

We deal with large numbers of residents, as customers visiting or on the telephone. For example all over 65s, not working, will visit the offices for a TV licence subsidy.
