1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We offer a secure and relaxed environment in which people feel safe and welcomed. We are part of the Milford family tab system. We have close links with Milford on Sea Dementia Action Group and support all events. If we have any concerns we are able to discuss with the Alzheimer’s Society

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Time  - we do not like to rush people who we suspect need more support. Finding a non busy time to get all the team to a Dementia Awareness Session.
