1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

As a domiciliary care provider, we already provide care and support to people with dementia and their families.  We aim to make sure that our support is the best it can be.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

There are no challenges – we will be able to do this.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

Ensure all customer facing staff are dementia aware. Every 3 months we run a Dementia Workshop for new staff at the beginning of the program.
