1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

  • TRAINING BUDGET AND CAPE BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVAL

    Implementing an agreed training budget with the Age UK Essex Board of Trustees

  • INTRODUCING A TRAINING SCHEDULE, IMPLEMENTING TRAINING IN THE WORK PLACE AND RE-TRAINING FOR STAFF

    Age UK Essex will organise Dementia Friends Sessions to allow the staff to have a clearer understanding of dementia and how you can live with dementia. If any staff become Dementia Friends, Age UK Essex will support them with their Action Plans.

  • SIGNPOSTING FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO A SUPPORTING NETWORK

    Age UK Essex look to provide vital links to a supporting network for family and friends either through links on the website or literature provided at client assessments
