1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

act as host to the dementia strategy coordinator assist in the planning of the dementia action alliance launch

promoting awareness of dementia to partners and the public signpost people to services supporting dementia awareness events and road shows

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

engaging with the wider community including a significant BME population which may highlight several barriers such as language and cultural issues. Time and resources such as staffing and funding
