1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Our customers may have a diagnosis of dementia but have been supported thus far by a deceased partner.

We can help support them and their family by signposting to local support and services.

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

    Ensure all staff attend a dementia awareness raising session

  • Awareness of our premises environment and issues it may present to someone living with dementia

    Review of premises, alter anything which can feasibly be changed, staff awareness of other possible issues to enable them to support appropriately.
