1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Ensure that all colleagues in the Branches are aware of Dementia and what it means to our customers and carers.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Organising the In House Training and Online Training for colleagues to do.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

    Ensure all staff members attend a dementia awareness raising session

  • Involve people with Dementia

    Ensure that people with Dementia are involved in the Bank and that Colleagues in the Branch help them with day to day banking

  • Fundraising

    Organise Tea and Talk days for the Alzheimer's Society to raise awareness and funds in the Branch.
