1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
By raising awareness with colleagues of how to assist people with dementia who may come in and making the store more dementia friendly for local people. This will be done by a colleague attending the training session to enable them to deliver the dementia friend’s awareness sessions to colleagues.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
The availability of courses in the local area and time to deliver the sessions to all relevant colleagues.
