1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Ensuring all staff at our Stubbington site have successfully completed the Dementia Training and are actively encouraging this within our shop. Allowing this dementia training to be recognised and advertised in our shops would hopefully allow us to be more accessible to those living with dementia than we are at present.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Allowing the necessary time away from the business, for all staff to be suitably trained, they all work on different days. Ensuring we have sufficient numbers complete in such a small village environment.
