1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

To fully understand challenges faced by those with dementia and be able to respond to their needs by providing a welcoming environment and staff who are able to assist.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

We do not have any technology in our branch, therefore we do not hold lunch and learn sessions for the elderly regarding accessing our services. We would like to offer this.
