1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Through Dementia Awareness sessions for store leaders and pharmacists we are able to offer support for those with dementia and their carers. By the end of July we shall have 500 leaders, pharmacists and dispenser colleagues who are Dementia Aware in our 56 stores throughout Hampshire.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Staff turnover. We shall therefore ensure there is a robust training plan in place
