1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Being in a town with the right demographic with some of our customers showing signs of dementia we will strive to be aware of this and make sure all our staff have the skills to deal with every customers individual needs.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Our shop is very different to those on the high street, we have many obstacles in our shop. But we are trying to bring the ideas and training we had at the dementia night to work within our store.
