1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We offer the highest standard of customer care and adapt to their needs.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Making sure all staff members including front of house trainers
and office (back of house) staff are trained and aware.

  • Dementia Friendly Environment

    Re Paint the colour of the front door as at the moment it’s the same colour as the rest of the facia of the building.

    Look at flooring to aid people with dementia 

    Use a blanket for mirrors in the store if required, to help ease concerns of those exhibiting signs of Dementia

    Change the doormat to a different colour
