1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We offer the highest standard of customer care and adapt to their needs.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Making the time to ensure any future staff can be trained in a retail environment

  • Dementia Friendly Environment

    Review any enhancements that would assist a person exhibiting the signs of Dementia, such as flooring, or extra customer attention when entering the store.

    Use aids to help ease concerns of those exhibiting signs of Dementia eg blanket for mirrors in the store

    Look at ways the store could be improved to aid people with dementia
