1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We aim to treat each individual personally - always on hand to help and advise. Patience and understanding is our aim.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As we are a small store I don’t find it difficult to spend the time needed to help those exhibiting the signs of Dementia, or their carers.

2. Actions

  • Consider easy methods we can use to assist customers

Useful tips like covering mirrors will be most appropriate for store.
