1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Wisdom House has a long history of inclusivity and recognising the value of individuals. The Centre offers a tranquil space in which to enjoy time away from the pressures of daily life.  It is an ideal place for everyone including and especially those who are vulnerable.  The Centre welcomes groups and individuals with dementia and their carers, and the staff are committed to increasing their awareness and responsiveness to these guests in order that they get the most out of their time with us.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Wisdom Centre is well-suited to delivering these outcomes.
