Healthwatch Oldham provides a service for Oldham residents. Every voice counts when it comes to shaping the future of Health and Social care services and improving them. Healthwatch is committed to reaching out to people who feel excluded from accessing services; those who are least able to speak out will be heard through Healthwatch Oldham including those with Dementia.

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
We will: Support raising the awareness of dementia and signpost individuals to relevant support at a local and national level. Empower people to get involved and encourage volunteers and staff in becoming Dementia Friends and work in partnership with other organisations.
