1. Action Plan
1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
Whether you are dealing with the death of a loved one or planning ahead to ensure peace of mind, we have Funeral Directors across the South who are there to offer you a comprehensive, considerate service. With over 75 years of experience, we are sensitive to the needs of a diverse community and have developed a wide range of options.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
People with dementia are not always included in the planning of a funeral for a loved one. The family are of course the people who decide whether it is a good idea to include that person or not. I guess it depends how advanced their dementia is.
