  • Quality of Service

We are interested in evaluating our general services to the community.

    2014 - First Quarter Update

  • Training & Knowledge of Dementia

We can consider how we can be a dementia friendly organisation in our own right.  As a first step, we will look at the website.

    2014 - First Quarter Update

  • February 2020 update:

South Gloucestershire Council have continued to promote being a dementia friend throughout the organisation.  Last year we jointly delivered the Dementia Roadshow with the Alzheimer’s Society to promote awareness amongst people with dementia and their carers.

We believe that everyone with a front line social care role should have completed a dementia awareness course and will promote the training opportunities with these staff throughout the year.  In additional to this we will be encouraging all staff to become dementia friends by holding a number of lunchtime sessions for staff to join or by accessing the on line resource.
