1. Action Plan

How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

As a branch we would like to undergo additional training in this area. This would allow us to better understand the individuals financial needs.

What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

As an organisation we do not currently offer any training in this area, therefore knowledge is limited.

2. Actions

  • Dementia Awareness raising for staff

Ensure all staff attend a dementia awareness raising session.

  • Any 2 members of staff to attend local meetings to actively be involved in the work that is going on locally with helping people with dementia.

This would enable them to stay in their community, with support.
