To ensure staff are all given appropriate awareness training
Dementia Awareness raising for staff
Ensure staff attend a dementia awareness raising session, especially those who are customer facing.
Dementia Friendly premises
Review premises to look at ways the environment could be more dementia friendly and make changes where appropriate/possible e.g signage /lighting
- Initial Scoping
Embed the concept of dementia friendly within the business
ReviewS business operations manuals and guidance ( e.g staff training, H&S, refurbishment procedures etc) to ensure dementia awareness is included
