Frinton Free Church

Our values: • Cultivating disciples • Breaking new ground • Renewing wellbeing • Giving generously • Being church wherever we are. At Frinton Free Church we are a group of Christians seeking to live out our faith by sharing the love of God with our community and we already do this in a number of ways, including through our Oasis café, which is currently open four mornings a week.

1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Our desire to become a dementia-friendly church is directly in line with our commitment to renewing wellbeing - physical, emotional as well as spiritual.  We hope to bring blessing to our local community by opening a monthly dementia café and holding a ‘Magical memories’ singing group.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
