  • Commit time and premises to Dementia Awareness

    Support the Dementia Action Alliance with premises (if available) for meetings etc and act as a base within the town for dementia events and sessions when required. We will also attempt to support DAA with assistance when available.

  • Dementia Champion Staff

    The Community Connections team includes Dementia Champions, one of which works out of the Cockermouth Centre but covers different areas. The trained members of the Connections team will be utilised to provide sessions when identified or required.

  • Dementia Friends Volunteers/members

    We will endeavor to  provide Volunteers etc with necessary information relating to dementia and ask them planned attend a dementia friends session.
