Frenchay Parish Church

As your local parish church, we invite you to join us. We offer a variety of worship services and activities to share the good news of Jesus in our community of Frenchay. 1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We want to be a DAA member because:

-we have links with BRACE (Bristol Research into Alzheimers and Care of the Elderly)

-we want to recognise the needs of our visitors

-we want to make the building and the Sunday services more accessible, and have separate services

-we have friends with dementia and who care for people with dementia.

We will listen to and be led by our congregation members with dementia and those who care for people with dementia.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

To keep on the agenda
