Contact Garage

Here at Contact Garage we service/repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles all with a happy and friendly atmosphere.

We do this because, we want to strive to give the customer the best possible and most cost-effective service and to maintain a happy customer is very important to us.

It is currently only 1 person who runs and works at Contact Garage as I am a new business, I have ambitions of employing more staff as business improves.

We fit into Newmarket well because as mentioned above we are friendly and very well priced, my aim is to expand the business while still offering the same services and I hope to be a valued business in Newmarket in the coming years.

1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

The aim of Contact Garage is to support people living with Dementia to have a sense of belonging and being a valued part of family and community life by providing a safe and supportive environment.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Making sure that all staff have a good understanding of the issues surrounding people living with Dementia by attending and cascading training. Helping staff not to make assumptions and to be able to help them if or when they should need it.
