1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

Newprint supports people living with dementia, and the vulnerable, helping them feel supported in the community.  We ensure that staff are welcoming, helpful and supportive to all visitors which helps people living with dementia to feel safe.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Making sure that all staff have a good understanding of the issues surrounding people living with Dementia by attending and cascading training. Helping staff not to make assumptions.
