1. Action Plan

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We offer support for those living with and caring for those living with Dementia through our day care, respite and permanent care We have aligned with many local community groups to offer spport, room space and triaing for dementia awareness. Our aim is to ensure that those living with Dementia are treated with the dignity and respect they are due whilst living as independently as posisble.

2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?

Our main challenge is the stigma attached to the caring industr as a whole and the general distrust of carehomes!
