Adorno Companions provide independent living support, befriending and companionship to disabled adults and the elderly. We are working to reduce social isolation and loneliness in Bristol and South Glos. We have both male and female companions that are DBS checked. Please note we do not provide personal care.

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?
We are working to reduce social isolation and loneliness within both South Glos and Bristol. We aim to keep our clients active, socialised and mentally well.
2. What are the challenges to delivering these outcomes from the perspective of your organisation?
Gaining accreditation from the local authority to provide companionship to clients paid for by the local authority/Bristol and South Glos council.
