Blackburn with Darwen DAA

Blackburn with Darwen DAA meets every other month and alliance members are invited to contribute actively to these meetings.

Organisations interested in joining are invited to complete an action plan setting out what they can do to make a difference to people living with dementia. For more information on how to do this visit the webpage http://www.dementiaaction.org.uk/join_the_alliance

Local Dementia Hubs

The Blackburn with Darwen Dementia Action Alliance is developing regular Dementia Hubs.  The hubs aim to provide a range of information in one place to people living with dementia and their carers and families.  Organisations which provide support to people with dementia will be available to provide advice, guidance and support, including Age UK, Carers Service, Alzheimers Society and Care Network.  The venue is informal and people can chat over a brew!

For more information contact Age UK on 01254 266620 or Care Network on 01254 292620
