At the final Salford DAA meeting of 2016 the members worked through successes and challenges from the past year to identify priorities for 2017. These are currently being collated and will be shared as soon as possible.

2016 Priorities

Salford Dementia Action Alliance members identified the following priorities for 2015 and 2016:

  • appropriate transport
  • easy to navigate physical environments
  • businesses and services that respond to customers with dementia
  • ensuring early diagnosis, personalised and integrated care is the key
