Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance

We are pleased to announce that the remainder of 2013 will see the recruitment of:

  • Sheffield Faith Community (early adopters)
  • South Yorkshire Passenger Transport
  • People with Learning Disabilities and Dementia
  • Sheffield City Council Housing Service
  • Sheffield Community Pharmacies (early adopters)
  • GP practices (early adopters)

The establishment of a SDAA steering group will drive forward this Sheffield plan.

Local organisations will be encouraged to join the Alliance.  New members will complete an action plan setting out what they can do to make a difference to people living with dementia.  Increasing understanding of dementia in Sheffield will continue to be a priority.
